Air India Engineering Services Limited (AIESL), Delhi, an engineering division of state owned airline services company Air India, has published the notification for recruiting 360 posts of Aircraft Technician and Skilled Tradesman on Fixed Term Employment Basis (FTB), through the trade test/interview/medical test.

Pay Scale: For the post of experienced Aircraft Technician posts, the emoluments and pay scale will be as per AIESL norms. And, for the post of Skilled Tradesman, the selected candidates will be paid a starting salary of Rs.20,000/- per month.
Age Limit (As on 01/11/2017) : Candidates age should be in the range of 21-35 years both the posts. Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/ categories up to Five (05) years and for candidates of OBC category up to Three (03) years. Relaxation for PWD/Ex-servicemen & Central govt. employees will also be applicable as Govt. Of India norms.
Educational Qualifications :
For Aircraft Technician : Candidate should have passed AME Diploma / Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (or) Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics and Telecommunications / Instrumentation / Radio Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized university or a board with 55% marks. Relaxation in qualifying marks of 5% will be applicable for reserved category applicants.
For Skilled Tradesman : ITI in relevant discipline from a recognized institute / university / board.
For Aircraft Technician : Candidate should have passed AME Diploma / Certificate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (or) Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics and Telecommunications / Instrumentation / Radio Engineering or relevant discipline from a recognized university or a board with 55% marks. Relaxation in qualifying marks of 5% will be applicable for reserved category applicants.
For Skilled Tradesman : ITI in relevant discipline from a recognized institute / university / board.
All posts under Aircraft Technician should have three years relevant experience and posts under Skilled Tradesman requires minimum one relevant experience.
Selection Process : The candidates will be selected based on performance in the skill test/trade test/medical test/interview.

Application Fees : The application fees is Rs.1000/- for the General/OBC category applicants. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of application fees. The fees should be paid by using a Demand Draft drawn in favour of Air India Engineering Services Limited, payable at Delhi only.
