DRDO Recruitment: Notification Released for Direct Recruitment of 76 Scientist/Engineers Posts

Recruitment and Assessment Center (RAC), a division of Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO), New Delhi has has published the notification for filling 76 posts of Scientists (B) & Scientist/Engineer(B) in DRDO and Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) on direct recruitment basis. 

Eligible aspirants willing to apply for this recruitment can apply online from 16/12/2017 to 05/01/2018 by visiting the official links given below. To know more about the notification, candidates can refer the following details.

   Part - II : Screening based on marks obtained in essential qualification

    7) Psychology - 4

Pay Scale: Candidates will be offered with Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs.56,100/-) and other allowances applicable as per norms.

Age Limit (As on 05/01/2018) : 

   For DRDO Jobs: Candidates age should be in the range of 21-28 years.
   For ADA Jobs: Candidates age should be in the range of 21-30 years.
  Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/ categories up to Five (05) years and for candidates of OBC category up to Three  (03) years. Relaxation for PWD/Ex-servicemen & Central govt. employees will also be applicable as Govt. Of India norms.

Qualifications : Candidate should posses First class Bachelor degree in relevant discipline along with valid GATE score for Engineer jobs and First class Master degree in relevant discipline along with GATE score (if applicable) for Scientist (B) posts. All qualifications should be obtained  from a recognized institute/board/university only.

Selection Process : 
   Part - I : The candidates will be selected based on the GATE score (80% ) and personal interview (20%) weightage respectively.
   Part - I : The candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the essential qualification and written test.

Application Submission : Interested candidates candidates can fill the online application between 16/12/2017 to 05/01/2018 (21 days from the publication of notification in Employment News) through the official website (https://rac.gov.in).

Application Fees : The application fees and examination fees is Rs.100/- for the General/OBC category applicants. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category are exempted from payment  of the application fees. The fees can be paid via online by using Credit/Debit card and Internet Banking.

 Last date for submitting application: 05/01/2018

 Downloading of the Admit Cards/Call Letter : One week before the examination
