The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC), a Karnatka state owned transport management organization has advertised notification for recruiting 1820 posts of Technical Assistant, Driver, Conductor and various other posts through the open written test/driving test.

Pay Scale: Successfully selected candidates will avail pay scale, other allowances and emoluments applicable as per norms.Please refer official notification for details.
Age Limit (As on 26/12/2017) : Candidates age should be in the range of 24-35 years for posts S.No.1 and 18-35 years for remaining posts. Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed for the applicants belonging to 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B categories up to three (03) years and for candidates of SC/ST/Category-1 category up to five (05) years. Educational Qualifications : Candidate should have passed SSLC/ equivalent with driving licences of HPV/ HTV/ HGC category for post S.No.1, PUC/ equivalent for post S.No.2,3 & 4. Candidate should completed Secondary education & ITC/ITI in relevant trade/discipline for post S.No. 6.
Selection Process : The candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the written test followed by Physical/Driving test (for the post of Driver).

Application Fees : The application fees is Rs.420/- for the General/2A, 2B, 3A & 3B category applicants and Rs.220/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/Category-1 category. The application fees can be paid at any computerized post offices only.
