RPF Recruitment Notification 2017 for 19,952 Constable Vacancies

1) Names​ of Organization : Railway Protection Force (RPF) & Railway Special Protection Force (RSPF)

2) Name of the Posts : Constable

3) No. of Vacancies : 19,952

4) Scale of Pay : Rs.5200 - 20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/-

5) Eligibility : SSC (Matriculation)

6) Age Limit : (As on 01/07/2017) 18 - 25 years

7) Important Dates : Last date for receipt of applications is 17/10/2017

8) Fees Payment : Rs. 40/- for all OBC and General category candidates. No fees for all Women and reserved category candidates.

The application fees can be paid only through Indian Postal Order / Crossed Bank Draft in favour of respective zonal 'The Financial Advisor and Chief Accounts Officer'

9) Application :  Offline. The application proforma can be downloaded from the Indian railways official website. The filled in application along with fee receipt and supporting documents need to be sent to to the respective zonal Chief Security Commissioner.

10) Selection Procedure : The selection process will proceed through following steps.

             * Written Test

             * Physical Efficiency Test.

             * Physical Measurement Test.

             * Viva - Mock Test.

             * Bonus Marks.

             * Medical Examination

12) Written Examination : The written exam will have following pattern.

          a) No of questions : 120

          b) Maximum Marks : 120

          c) Duration : 90 minutes

          d) Negative Marking : 1/4

          e) Subjects : General Intelligence & Reasoning (35 Questions) , Arithmetics (35 Questions) and General Awareness (50 Questions)

The question paper will also be available in listed regional languages.

13) Physical Standards Required : The candidates must ensure that he has met the following physical standards before sending the application.

MARRIED APPLICANTS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

14) Physical Efficiency​ Test & Physical Measurements : Only those candidates who qualified in written examination will be called to appear for these tests. The candidates must qualify these tests for further selection consideration.
