The Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (UPPCL), a Uttar Pradesh state owned power supply corporation has published the notification for recruiting 2523 posts of Stenographer and Office Assistants through the open competitive examination (CBT).

Pay Scale: Successfully selected candidates will have pay scale of Rs. 5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2600/- along with other allowances and emoluments applicable as per norms.
Age Limit (As on 01/07/2016) : Candidates age should be in the range of 21-40 years for posts S.No. Relaxation in upper age limit will be allowed for the applicants belonging to SC/ST/ categories up to Five (05) years and for candidates of OBC category up to Three (03) years. Relaxation for PWD/Ex-servicemen & state govt. employees will also be applicable as Govt. Of India norms.
Educational Qualifications : Candidate should have passed any bachelor degree/equivalent in from a recognized university or a board and should have Hindi stenography speed of 60 WPM and Hindi typing speed of 30 WPM for post of Stenographer. Candidate should have passed any bachelor degree/equivalent in from a recognized university or a board and should have Hindi typing speed of 30 WPM for post of Office Assistant.
Selection Process : The candidates will be selected based on the marks obtained in the Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Stenography test and Typing test

Application Fees : The application fees is Rs.900/- for the General/OBC category applicants and Rs.700/- for candidates belonging to SC / ST / Ex-servicemen / Freedom fighters relatives. Applicarion fees is Rs. 10/- for PWD applicants. The fees can be paid via online by using Debit/Credit card, Net banking and SBI Challan.
